Commencing her career in reinsurance in 1990, Ms. Mack’s earliest experience was as Head Reinsurance Counsel for Aetna Property and Casualty Insurance Company. In this capacity, Ms. Mack was this ceding company’s principal negotiator with both Lloyds of London and two large domestic reinsurers. Her efforts resulted in the collection of at least $40 million for Aetna, through litigation, arbitration and negotiation.

Concurrent with her later service as reinsurers’ General Counsel, Ms Mack was subsequently the Chief Claims Officer and Chief Treaties Officer for both St. Paul Re, Inc, a property/casualty reinsurer and Transamerica Reinsurance, a life reinsurer.

As retained counsel, Ms. Mack is called upon to draft and negotiate reinsurance treaties and related trusts. Additionally, she counsels clients as to how best to present and allocate claims to reinsurance contracts.
